One popular kind of OER is the open textbook. The Open Book Library consists of over 600 open textbooks in a growing variety of disciplines. Open books are books that have been funded, released, and licensed to be easily used, adjusted, and distributed. The books consisted of in the library have been examined by faculty from a variety of colleges and universities to examine their quality.
