She has since been reunited with her family.

The OPD shared in a police report that a Southwest Airline employee saw the girl wandering around Gate #128 and proceeded to ask if she needed any help.

The woman stated that the girl gave her a drink coupon, which the employee then found belonged to a person who had boarded an earlier flight.

Sade reportedly told authorities that she 'just wanted to fly on an airplane' and shared that she had taken 'several buses' from Apopka to reach the Orlando airport.

She also explained that she had found the drink coupon on the floor and used it as she went through TSA PreCheck.

Video surveillance showed Sade going through the PreCheck at the airport at roughly 1.30pm.

A spokesperson from the airport has denied that the drink pass was used to go through security.

They added that passengers younger than 18 are not required to present identification and said that the teen did not present a threat to the aviation system.
