The antioxidant activity of carotenols of tar is very high, so they may exert a similar effects as they do on vitamin C. Some of them may be the "gene responsible" for the body's protective mechanism of action and vitamin C receptors.

An unpublished 2012 study showed that there were no differences in the risk of being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes-free after 30 weeks' supplementation.
Does carotenoids protect you from a disease caused by inflammation, the inflammatory bowel disease? One of the benefits of carotenoids is that it suppresses the growth of new cancers including prostate or breast, which in turn increases the likelihood of ovarian cancer.
I have tried using vitamin E in my medical life and its effectiveness has been quite promising. I do not recommend that others consume this vitamin on a daily basis due to their high level of activity.
