The singer-songwriter, 40, posted a clip on Instagram Stories Thursday in New York City as she wore a purple beanie with sunglasses and an olive green jacket.
'Hey guys, just wanted to check in,' Bareilles said. 'I'm really quiet right now and will probably continue to be quiet. Just sort of taking all of this in and having a lot of feelings as I do.'
